Manila Bay used to be a long stretch area that depicts a tiny image of the kind of poverty existing in the Philippines, but today, all of that has changed. The rehabilitated Manila Bay area is better known as Baywalk. And because it has transformed into a nice, friendly place for people to meet and hangout, Baywalk is now one of the most visited tourist spots in Manila.

At daytime, Baywalk is an ideal place for jogging, biking, and walking, but when evening starts to creep in, the place becomes an ultimate ‘gimmick’ place. There are restaurants, bars and coffee shops right in Baywalk, and there are live bands or solo artists that you and your friends can come listen to. But if you’re the type who adores dimlights indoor, you can always visit the cluster of Malate disco and bars just across the street.
To the conservative ones, Baywalk is the perfect place to visit in Metro Manila for a glimpse of the sunset. Don’t miss the chance to catch the sunset in Manila Bay, which is just about the most beautiful thing to see in Baywalk.
Just a few steps away from Baywalk is another place fondly called the Boulevard. It is where people usually stay to enjoy the view of yachts out in the bay or just hang out in one of the food and drink establishments. There are also mini-boutiques (or “tiangge”) and convenience stores around the Boulevard for anything that you may need.

Manila Bay, according to Wikipedia, is the one of the finest natural harbors in the world which serves the port of Manila in the Philippines. Looking towards the bay, you’ll see the Bataan Peninsula to the north, and the province of Cavite to the south. The Corregidor island, which is just across Baywalk, is not hard to spot if you’re standing in Roxas Blvd.
It is the perfect place for sight-seeing with your friends, family or special someone.
